Our Collio Sauvignon Riserva 2016 Russiz Superiore among the 100 best wines of the world according to Wine Enthusiast
The prestigious American magazine Wine Enthusiast has included the Collio Sauvignon Riserva 2016 Russiz Superiore among the world’s best 100 wines of 2020. Described as a benchmark for all Italian white wines, this Sauvignon achieved this incredible result after passing a selection of over 25,000 wines from all over the world.
This recognition is a great satisfaction for Roberto Felluga, who thanks to this vintage – which was already rewarded the 3 Bicchieri by Gambero Rosso – brings Collio back in the spotlight. He had already achieved this incredible result in 2014, with the Collio Sauvignon 2012, and in 2018, with the Collio Friulano 2016, both of them by Russiz Superiore.

Everything began a long time ago, with the massal selection made by my father, Marco, which we continue to enhance while respecting the identity of the DOC Collio and the Region we proudly represent, Friuli Venezia Giulia Region.”
This acknowledgment rewards not only a great wine with a strong personality, structure and longevity, but also the Estates’ production philosophy, whose distinctive features – high quality, environmental protection, respect for history and a six generations long family tradition – have led Marco Felluga and Russiz Superiore at the top of the world rankings.
